Nels Greger Thorild Gradeen

Nels enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force on November 20, 1942 in Winnipeg Manitoba at the age of 18 years of age. He served until the war ended, and was discharged on May 27, 1946. After his training, Nels became a Leading Aircraftman, serving overseas. He was awarded the Defence Medal, the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with clasp, and the War Medal 1939-1945.
