Marcel Perreault

Rene Marcel Perreault enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940, in Toronto, at the age of 21. He completed basic training in North Bay, Toronto, and Moncton before being stationed in 1942 at Fogo Island, off Newfoundland, until the war’s end in 1945. Perreault retired with the rank of Sergeant in 1946. A letter received from one of his officers gave him high praise for his work and deportment while in service.

After the war he certified as a mechanic and returned to work as a traffic officer. He retired from the police force as a Police Chief in 1978. A life of service!
