John George Odell

John Odell, like so many others of his time, was determined to join the war effort, even if underage at 17. He enlisted with the Army and lied about his age, only to be found out and dragged home by his mother. Another attempt to enlist was successful, this time with the Royal Canadian with Air Force. He went on to see action as an Air Gunner during the Second World War. We Will Remember Them
