Hugh E.F. Fraser
Hugh Ernest Forbes Fraser enlisted on October 2, 1941 in Toronto, Ontario for service in the Second World War. He initially enlisted with the Royal Canadian Ordinance Corps, but was transferred to the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. (R.C.E.M.E) He served in England, landed in France on D-day, and furthered into Belgium and into Holland (Nijmegen). Hugh was awarded the 1939-45 Star, the France-Germany Star, the Defence Medal and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal and Clasp.
