Eric Karl Edser

Eric Karl Edser served in the Second World War, and was a gunner with the Royal Artillery after his enlistment in 1940. In 1945 he served as a Battery Quartermaster Sergeant in the Royal Royal Engineers.

He is mentioned in a poem by British-Irish actor, comedian, writer, poet and playwright, Spike Milligan, entitled, “Gunner Edser”.
