Arthur H. Perry

Arthur attended Uxbridge Public School, starting grade 1 in 1922!  He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941, at the Manning Depot in Toronto, and served his country diligently for four years in England.  He trained as a cook, and was posted to London England, serving in the kitchen at the Officers’ Mess’; and after remustering, served as a postal clerk in Manchester. Arthur was awarded the 1939-1945 Star, the Defense Medal, and the Canadian Volunteer Service Medal.

After completing his military service, Arthur continued his studies and became an Ordained Minister.  He pastored the Free Methodist Church in Uxbridge in the 1950’s.
